Make Peace with Stress

Stress is an unfortunate part of everyone’s life. But yoga offers us opportunities to handle it and make peace with it. This Sunday, Stephannie is offering a special workshop with tips on how yoga can help you cope with everyday stress. Her 2 hour workshop will explore common areas of tension, like the neck, shoulders, upper and lower back, and the hips with a slow paced yoga flow that will allow beginners to practice safely and will offer more advanced students the opportunity to build on these foundational postures.

You will leave the workshop with practical tips to integrate stress relief into your everyday routine. With the help of Stephannie’s guided meditation, asana, pranayama, pose adjustments based on Thai Massage, and a 10-minute final relaxation, your Sunday will be peaceful and you’ll leave our Fells Point studio feeling blissful.

Stephannie shares a nurturing style of yoga that emphasizes personal empowerment and deep relaxation. By encouraging mindfulness during practice, she strives to create a safe environment where students deepen their self-awareness and find balance on many levels. Trained in Integrative Yoga Therapy and Thai yoga massage, Stephannie teaches group classes as well as working one-on-one to apply the insights of yoga to improve the quality of life.
