Vanessa found yoga during college as a way to release the stress of performing and to relieve tendonitis from playing harp. Eventually her practice transformed into a lifestyle that lead to completing a 200 hour training while living in Los Angeles. During a chakra-clearing workshop she was awakened to realizing she had the power to create her own happiness. As a huge leap of faith she decided to discontinue work on her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Southern California to accompany her husband to Maryland where he recently won a position with the United States Army Field Band. Off the mat she can be found playing her harp professionally, running, training her two rescue pups and attempting new vegan creations.
